Queen Adreena

Katie Jane Garside comes back after 7 years of depression
with Queen Adreena - the new hype goth rock combo. She
combines her fragile voice with screams and broken chairs on
stage. I saw her yesterday and she was dancing like a whore
with a bottle of champagne, singing and shouting ; she let
the foam out of her mouth painting her face with the diluted
lipstick and in front of the yelling crowd she was like the
most beautiful, weak and desperate think on earth.

Check this for sure - she has a wonderful body.

I'm mainly talking about the live performance of miss
Garside. I've nerver been a goth fan but woww the very same
night I saw Queen Adreena and Boom Bip ; that's not exactly
the same emotion when you see this mysterious girl dancing
on top of her chair, rising her hands in the air and holding
the wire of her mic between her two legs, between heaven and
vulgarity. On the other side boom bip played a nice set
juggling between his sequencer, his guitar and the FX rack -
those laptop shows are so boooring. I give much respect to
autechre when they shut the lights off unless they decide to
lick the mixing console.

yes that's her. And there's the former guitarist with her in
Queen Adreena too.

As opposed the former wrestler turned dominatrix, Queen
Adrena.

Could it be the origin of the name ? I don"t think it's the
kind of people who are fond of women wrestling but who knows
?

She's also done a whole bunch of obscure film and TV work
including being a bearded lady in Spaceballs, Aerosmith's
'Love In An Elevator' video, Married With Children,
Brainsmasher and more.

Katie Jane is hot, i'd love to see Queen Adreena live!

I've got the Taxidermy album which is really good. Haven't
got the new one yet though *makes mental note to put it on
his extremely long cd x-mass list*

more people should listen to this band, to think Evenescense
are popular and these remain uknown is such a shame. I guess
talent and popularity don't go hand in hand these days :(
