I have it. It's one of several dozen Merzbow albums this
year. Really noisy, sexy and wonderful. In case you fancy a
total washout noise, no beats, no melodies, no themes, just
noise, this will be right up your alley.

Saw them at Atp. Really noisey. I got freaked out cuz when I
walked in the room I saw a japaneese guy and a big buff guy
starring into there laptops really hard.

Oh, Akita stared at his laptop? Usually he just crosses his
arms and stares into the crowd.

Then he did another performance as Merzbow, It was tottally
something you had to be there to appreciate.

I almost exclusively listened to merzbow for the last 5
days. Satanstornade and some of his other releases. people
say it all sounds the same, but it just means they don't
really listen. His records have fractal complexity and
therefore can't sound the same, for all the detail they
have.

His tracks are heavily layered, I put my fingers in my ears
and heard some weird noises not audible otherwise. Does
anybody know if hes touring?

I don't think so, but here's a link to the most
comprehensive site on Merzbow, you might find some
interesting info:

Cool, have you seen him live before?

His recordings are as beautiful as a summer's day, and as
ugly as sin. He beckons you hear to sounds in a new way, and
then the world. He didn't invent this kind of music, but
brings to it a different artistic perspective. You can lose
yourself listening to it or you could just lose your mind.
His body of work is so vast you could probably never get to
hear it all.

I have never seen him live. Just read about it.

He is really, really good and has a very good theory behind
his music. I mean he did graduate in arts history and has
published over 10 books.

Keyfumbler: power electronics, like Whitehouse/ Throbbing
Gristle only harsher.

Dolleater: I like malodoror too, but not better than
Merzbow, they are both grrrreat.

I didn't quite catch your question on bondage???????

I just got this last night. Man, I dunno what to say. I like
it? It's pretty cool and I have it on my headphones right
now.

Do you think if you plaid this to a baby at a normal volume
that it would cry? A baby can walk around the edge of a
building not fearing the height as it has no definition of
fear meaning it is too innocent to know it could fall. So if
you play this to a child and it cries then this would mean
it's 'bad' yeah? A natural instinct will tell the baby it's
bad. But if you play it to the child and it is not bothered
then what would that mean? not much I guess... I don't have
a baby to test this on and I don't think I should ask if I
could perform this test to any mothers close to me. Smoking
a joint then playing this was a great kick last night. My
mind came up with loads of shit like this. }:>
