who here can manage to NOT listen to this album until the
day it comes out?

id like to be able to say it, but the temptation will

I can hold out, I prefere the experience of holding it in my
shaking hands.

It will be hard to resist the temptations though.

The mind is a powerful thing. So is draft. Draft makes you
cold, which affects the mind...

i'd rather have a new boc...

but a new autechre album is something to look foward to,
provided that it's not shit.

haha some of you mp3 junkies have no will power! rest
assured I'm getting it the day it comes out and no sooner,
unless Sean himself hands me a promo. if you listen to it
like 5 months prematurely, then there's no new surprise
until the next album plus the five months you cheated!
unless of course you get that one early too. but my point
is the same. also how can you compare a lovely CD to mp3s
anyway... :-)
my 2 cents, take it or leave it (preferably leave it since I
want to buy this album)

people have heard the album already, i'm quite sure mp3's
will be on slsk and whatnot before year's end. remember, we
had gantz graf 8 months early (that's cos they pushed the
date back) and the following albums all 3-4 months early:
drukqs
confield
double figure
go plastic
dyks?

geogaddi was kept pretty close to the label and band, maybe
ae will learn from that if they haven't given too many
copies out already. i know that lfo doesn't want early
copies of "sheath" (working title) out for months in
advance, i'm sure other artists aren't happy about the
rampant early bootlegging either...

Everyone with a recognizable human face in their avatar
ought to santa-hat it.

Wouldn't titsworth's avatar look more jolly with a nice red
santa-hat over the ball cap? hint hint

Its always hard to come to this messageboard when the
majority of the members here have downloaded the mp3s and
start talking about it and making polls of the best tracks
on a unreleased album. :-/

It happened with DYKS? recently... and I gave in to
temptation!

It's awesome and getting awesome-er everytime I listen to
it.

Seriously, absolutely every fucking time I listen, I hear
something new and get into the track more. It's crazy.

I still don't like it as much as Confield, though!

my priority now is to find the 57-second track i need to
finish neubauten's 'kalte sterne' EP.

there is like a malediction on mp3 downloads, always one or
two tracks you need WEEKS to find whereas you have
downloaded all the other tracks in like one or two hours.
^^;

i missed something. where can you preorder draft 7.30??

i'm glad i downloaded it this early. it's not mindblowing
but it's one of the most solid ae albums yet. not one weak
track (or maybe tapr). the visual imagery draft provides
(me) is unprecedented, though.
