yeah i downloaded a lot of his stuff about 6months ago and
its really quite beautiful in a cheesy kind of way. I really
enjoy 'Black Turtleneck' and 'G.D. Luxxe & Solvent - Quiet
Life'.

and i agree it really is quite refreshing.

:)

BUMP

Yeah, I just got into Solvent... this music makes me feel
really good, clean bouncy sounds. The Solvent City album is
lifesaver. A Panel of Experts basically salvaged my entire
bleak morning by itself, just by being awesome.

I haven't checked out the subject of the topic title yet,
but I will.

can this be compared to some other artist/band?

Frankly, a lot of it reminds me of Analogue Bubblebath 5,
and Melodies from Mars. I can't think of too many artists
that specialize in this sound, though. Some if it is kind of
Black Dog-ish. Maybe isan... I don't know.

I like the way the artist/title makes it look like "get out
of debt" spam.

I like solvent, not heard this release. I'll check it out.

sounds nice...i'll download some i think.
i was thinking this could be hip hop since i think
euphonicfilter is more into that...but electronica can be
nice as well i guess.

i love solvent, especially solvent city.

it's stripped down and spare electronic pop, but with really
great arrangements and memorable melodies.

reminds a bit of some of bochum welt's rephlex output. it
has a strong retro feel like isan since he uses mostly
vintage analogue synths and drum machines, and almost
totally eschews production gimmicks, no dsp at all really.
if you're into "songs," and you like the sounds of old
machines, you'll probably love it.

he's got a new album coming out on ghostly international
this summer called "apples and synthesizers."
