ok.... aphex, autechre, squarepusher, uziq, plaid and BOC. choose ONE release of each one that you consider is their worst and then rate them so that we can see which one you consider the worst of the 6. for me: (of course from what I have) aphex´s worst: 2 remixes by afx autechre´s worst: basscadet ep squarepusher´s worst: selection sixteen uziq´s worst: royal astronomy plaid´s worst: not for threes BOC´s worst: geogaddi 2 remixes by afx is the worst for me. |

aphex - any of the old school raver crap he seems so fond of re-issuing autechre - with exception of certain tracks, everything after lp5 squarepusher - selection sixteen (although i dont know, hes kind of like sonic youth for me.... make me a good 2-3 cd retrospective compilation and ill be happy) uziq - the only one i really DO like is lunatic harness plaid - i dont much care for anything before rest proof clockwork boc - nothing... i cant pick anything i dont like on an equal tier. |

mood bells is amazing and so are the ventolin remixes esp cylobs r remixes by afx is amazing as well... now boc that's a deeply overated group and venetian snares is mono emotional and really not very exciting - he's released too many records and could have done one stunning album out of the best tracks from all of them that would have been amazing |

strange that budokan mindphones my fave - my least fave is the maximum priest stuff the universal indicator stuff is amazing for waht it is - really hard kicking dancefloor acid - not all musiic has to be overerly complicated |

Aphex Twin & µ-ziq = I'll kill two birds with one stone: "Expert Knob Twiddlers" Squarepusher = "Maximum Priest" Autechre = "ep7" Plaid = "Peel Sessions" BoC = "Peel Sessions" But that doesn't mean I renounce them. It's just compared to other works, they don't stand out. |
