Funny Little Man

Richard on 2001-03-31 16:52 [#00002184]

I bought the come to daddy cd yesterday, and was totally
blown away.
the cd had been playing for a while, and
the sixth track started, funny little man.
WHOA!!!! this is the best piece of music i have ever
heard.funny, funky, groovy, twisted.me and my friends were
laughing our guts out listening to this tune.it has got to
be the best he's ever done, even better than alberto balsam
or cornish acid!! Anyone else has any thoughts Funny Little
Man ??!

It scares me to listen to it, the title is even scary.

hmmm.... funny little man is not the best RDJ song in my
opinion, its good though... i like to listen to his cautic
window, and harsher stuff right now.. it changes every once
and a while so.. :]

Well, why not?

I like it because it's so stupid. And the little vocoder
thing at the end is funny.

CTD was my 2nd AFX cd. SAW2 the first. But, damn was I
impressed when I heard it. So many years ago...

When I first heard Funny little man I had been reading
Stephen Kings "Bag of Bones" and they keep mentioning a line
from a book where someone is referring to someone else as a
"Funny Little Man." I found that really creepy...

Placebo sampled Funny Little Man for a hidden track on
'without you i'm nothing'. pretty cool.

Bouncing ball is just awesome. Man what a crispy sound. But
yeah funny little man is good to make people frown when they
walk by and you're playing that song. Sometimes they ask:
"are you feeling allright man?"

I once had a discussion regarding the meaning of this song.
Some of us decided that it was about Richard D. J. taking a
dump. Grunting and coaxing the "little man" to come out, so
to speak.
