has richard ever commented about his work with trent reznor
of nine inch nails?

oh and how come richards never done a peel session thingy
like the others.

Aron? from Canada on 2001-08-30 04:26 [#00027704]

I think he did 2 peels sesssions, but none of them were
realeased. Check the Explore section.

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-08-30 06:34 [#00027732]

it wasn't a remix of a nin song, but just a random song he
made that was on 'further...'

tho he does like trents work and wanted to tour with him at
one time.

r3fl3x from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-30 06:41 [#00027733]

Correction he did 1 new song for NIN and 1 remix for nin on
that same album, further down the spiral.both are good
stuff.

and he did 2 peel sessions, they were never made official on
CD.. but you can download the tracks. they are good.

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-08-30 06:53 [#00027736]

what ones are they then?

Ellies on 2001-08-30 07:04 [#00027738]

correction:
both were aphex songs.
both were inspired by TDS.
one of the songs was just incorporated in and the other was
a full aphex track.

The Tracks are: at the heart of it all (aphex) and the
beauty of being numb (trent & aphex)

theres also some pretty intresting a noisey coil stuff on
there.

recycle from need new aphex twin on 2001-08-30 17:55 [#00027879]

afx=great
nin=greater

recycle from need new aphex twin on 2001-08-30 17:55 [#00027880]

afx + nin touring = greaterest

r3fl3x from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-30 19:09 [#00027911]

Ellies: yes but 1 was a remix of a NIN song.

Ellies on 2001-08-31 02:41 [#00028053]

nah, I remember reading about it..besides it even says so in
the cd..it's just two different songs combined..section A +
B. It's just too bad there will probably be no more
colaborations in the future..

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-08-31 02:43 [#00028056]

same track tho. one song.

PURPLE PEOPLE EATER! COMMING FOR YOU!

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-31 02:44 [#00028057]

both are great tracks.. at the heart of it all is killer.

i liked nin way back w/ head like a hole and the album after
that was insane, then manson started controling his head and
courtney love forced him to do some stuff for her album so
now he STICKETH

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-08-31 04:29 [#00028079]

1. he helped manson on everything manson did up to
mechanical animals.

2. he never wrote anything for courtney, not did she for
him.

3. courtney is in desprate need of a shotgun blast between
her eyes. if anyone can handle this, i'll send you a buck.

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-31 07:36 [#00028110]

here comes 1 dollar in my direction...

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-08-31 07:47 [#00028121]

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-31 07:49 [#00028123]

japes from London on 2001-08-31 10:08 [#00028155]

courtney love is the most bloodsucking little whorebitch on
the face of the musical earth. The musical earth being the
one next to the real earth.

I REALLY like Coil's remix of Gave up by NIN (I hate the
original). That song is awesome, can't get enough of that
helicopter beat. A Perfect Drug is also really cool.

Ellies on 2001-08-31 12:43 [#00028181]

Yeah I think The Perfect Drug is one of my all time favorite
videos..pure genious. That and the Rabbit in your headlights
video. Coil also did some pretty good remixes of closer.

teapot from brisbane on 2001-08-31 12:48 [#00028182]

do any of you own THE FRAGILE ? that is deffinately trents
masterpiece... that is the best album of all time... and LA
MER is the best song of all time too :)

Ellies on 2001-08-31 13:02 [#00028184]

The next one will be even better..

\/\/ooƒer_Attack² from Milan on 2001-08-31 14:44 [#00028205]

I like Fragile, but I am not sure if it is better than
"Pretty Hate Machine" or "Downward Spiral". It's a big
match!!!

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-31 18:30 [#00028254]

teapot: i have all the nin cds!.. great band indeed. the
fragile isn't my fav one though.. but its really interesting
and rather fucking cool!

teapot from brisbane on 2001-08-31 18:36 [#00028258]

reflex: i used to be a mental nin collector... all the halos
on cd, most of the halos on vinyl... all the rare track blah
blah... it was further down the spiral that made me check
out aphex twin, and then after i'd gotten into aphex i
realised that he was on this old cd i had all
along...ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE 2, which is a very cool
compilation, also made me get into Ae as well...

the best track on AI2 has got to be Darren Fittons
'Blipsalt'... what does he do now? ive checked
warprecords.com for him but i cant locate him and his
stuff... anyone know anything?

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-31 18:46 [#00028268]

teapot: yeah... sounds a lot like me. Artificial
Intelligence... my friend had a copy of that CD. there were
some really damn cool songs on there... What was that one
with that womans computer voice and it was really..... fast
industrial beats? That song was a+!

teapot from brisbane on 2001-08-31 18:56 [#00028272]

hmm what is that track... it must be MARK FRANKLIN : RELEASE
TO THE SYSTEM... its the only one on AI2 with a female
voice, so maybe thats the track your thinking of... tis is
cool song that one.
