hey .. I haven't actually heard bjorks new one, but have read a review (not generally the most reliable source) BUT - it said that it was a little all over the show (not that this is a bad thing) BUT - the electronic stuff was meant to be quite good. .. bottom line, the review I read said it was shite - can you confirm deny - and if not give us sum .. like details .. that is if you don't mind being bophered n all. cheers

no. i'm too tired, and it's my last post before going to bed. check out some more reviews i suppose, but i don't really give a shit what someone else thinks about a movie or an album. i think it's very good. i like it alot. it hasn't had time to grow on me like the rest of hers, as i've had her other ones for years, but i like it alot. download a couple mp3's off it to check it out. or check out some samples. www.cdnow.com would have them for sure, and www.bjork.com would surely have them as well.

i love the part of the 3rd (?) song......
the repeating "i love him, i love him" and the line over top "this time, i'm gonna keep it to myself."

You can listen to samples of the new album at cdnow.com and yes, unfortunately it is pretty disapointing stuff. I love Bjork, shes beautiful, mystical, musical, moody and not afraid to be creative and artistic. However, I think in recent years she has become a bit of a money making machine. With the countless singles she releases (which are 3 versions of the same song for 10 bucks a pop), the video collection on DVD and the countless trinkets and doo-dads she is currently hawking at her site ( a messengerbag?) she comes across as a little tacky as of late. To be blunt I think she has sold out and each new effort just seems like a greedy grab for her fans money. Just visit her site at www.bjork.com and see if you don't pick up a slightly commercial if not greedy vibe.
