Yeah, there is this SUPER GORGEOUS girl in a bunch of my classes and I'm totally in love with her, but I've never spoken to her... I am not at all good when it comes to relationships with girls because I get so fucking nervous that I can hardly make eye contact with someone I like... with a girl that's just a friend I have no problem, but when I like them I'm horrible... I was inspired by that thread by BlatantEcho and so decided to post about my situation and hope for some words of wisdom that will give me some confidence!! but seriously, she's like the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen, and I am always staring at her... I get the feeling that she thinks I'm a freak, but then sometimes I think I catch her looking at me (probably just wishful thinking here)... but I have no idea how to just go up and initiate a conversation with her... please give me some SERIOUS suggestions... although some joke suggestions will be funny as well... :) |

I tend not to want to go out with women until I've talked to them, so it's not a problem I encounter. I was just about to make the same point as uzim just did. Until you really talk to her I don't think you can really love her. You might think you do, then talk to her, then fall in love and think it's love at first site. However, you may also think you love her, talk to her and realise she isn't anyone special to you. I thought I loved this girl for years (and I do mean years) but when I actually talked to her I realised how little I cared about her. ooh fleetmouse, great avatar! at school, i always hang out with boys. one of the boys of my class is really nice and we have grown to be very good friends. he is very different from me; and also i would not think i could ever go out with him. still, all the girls brand me as a slut, and think i cheat my bf with this guy (what really is not so, i'm hoping my bf can be friends with him as well). so i think there is one of the reasons why girls wont necessarily approach guys so much - the girl 'society' does not allow it. Why dont you just walk up to her and talk to her. Just be yourself and open. Go unshielded, I know its hard, but you have got nothing to loose except the dream you're clinging to.
