no it dosen't. that dosen't mean a band sold out. their videos, if played on mtv, are because slipknot are popular enough so that they can't ignore the demand from the fans to see the videos. and the mask thing, yeah it's kinda lame, but that dosen't mean that they have sold out. nor does the fact that they make heavy music mean that either. |

I saw Slipknot live and got to meet them all. I hate their music, well I loved it then, but hate it now. Their music is lame, and so are they. But - They are very talented and thoughtful. Unique....... youve got to hand that to them. |

Slipknot is made a sellout by RoadRunner Records, such as Fear Factory and Machine Head. Fear Factory often complains about their relationship with RoadRunner records, the only problem is, most of these bands selled their own souls by signing to RoadRunner. A lot of albums have to be delivered, and RoadRunner changed from an grounbreaking into a moneyhungry label. First one to break with RoadRunner in a positive way is Sepultura.
