I've never really liked ratings....if you don't have em, it at least makes you read the review... When you do have em, it tends to feel like everything sits on this single axis between good & bad.... (It's a moot point with me, as I seldom buy stuff on the basis of a good review...your own ears are the best reviewer anyway...)... |

I'm a little late here, but you might want to know that Mike Paradinas's ugly mug will grace the glossy cover of The Wire some time next year (I think they said May but I might be wrong). |

That'll go down well :D I think the cover thing was a rumour started on th eplanet-mu board, and mike won't be on the cover at all. He was on the cover of an old Future Music, years ago, and with an exclusive track on the cover CD. Actually there was the µ-mix of a Baader Meinhoff track on the cover cd for an old issue of the Wire too. Anyone know if that was an exclusive? I don't remember a release with that on. I suppose I could check the in-progress-µ-ography, but damn, it's much nicer to get personal responses :) |

what are the recent Wire Tappers 10 and 11 like? i haven't bought the Wire since this one and might get these cd's free with a subscription, or two free mags, not sure yet. |

They are absolutely ace. I only have those two, but i love them to bits. You should definitely get them if you can. |
