when the white rabit peaks i want you to throw the reel to
reel in the tub with me..

as your a-tour-knee i advize you to take this hit of blotter
acid..

it is a little unsettle'n.. makes you feel under the
influence of some kind of substance.. lol.. kinda like try'n
to go to sleep when you have the bed spins..

and lol @ waking up with a hotel room full of water wearing
thigh lenth waiders with an aligator tale .. a tape recorder
duct taped to your chest and a mic taped to your head.. what
did i get up too last night..

classic stuff '_' ..

Good film. HST is my favourite journalist and this film is
as good an adaption as you could ask for.

If you like this, try reading the Rum Diaries and Hells
angels by him. Don't bother with the book it's very, very
close to the film...

yep read those two.. + fear and loathing in las vagas + f a
l on the campaigne trail 72 . the great shark hunt and
generation of swine.. all very amusing :)

Have you read his collected letters (3 volumes, third still
to be released?) very good as well. Incrediby funny and
interesting, readng other people's correspondance usually
drains my will to live...

hehe all of those are exactly the same books I have read
too....:) must be something about living in the antipodies
and the availability:)......

now lets hear how brilliant Ralph Steadman is as
well....brutal, bloody and brilliant...

saw it like a month ago..

WOOH! extremely weird. and very funny.
don't understand how all the reviews were bitching about
Depps accent at the time - it fits perfectly with the
character.

love the part where Depp wakes up in the utterly destroyed
hotelroom with a microphone taped to his head... :)

but what can you do: Terry Gilliam is a GENIUS!

I would like to see it again..

brazil is pure genious.

baron von munchhausen is also wonderful...

he was working on a new feature for a long time "the
defective detective".. and a film about Don Quichote..

still wont mind a "Watchmen" made by him..though after
seeing From Hell..I wonder if Cinema would ever truly grasp
the depths of Alan Moore's writing..

i've been curious to READ the book.....then perhaps i'll
watch the movie. i really like johnny depp, i think he's
really unrated as an actor because he's attractive.

i'm glad to see that the movie has some admirers......i'll
watch it after i read the book fo shure!

Yes, he is a good actor, he's one of those ones like Brad
Pitt who a lot of men slag off and say he's just used
because women fancy him. He is very good though, especially
in Fear & Loathing and also What's eating gilbert grape?

Brilliant film, I love it. The way the raoul duke's
narrative is so different to the way he speaks in the film
is so funny :D

Was there no communication in this car? Had we been reduced
to the level of wild animals?..."He was lying to me!"...Wait
a minute, did I say that, or just think it?...
