my mother grew up in a really poor family... she worked her
ass off to get her education, and she did it... she got a
teaching degree from the university here and taught for 30
years... My father came from a better off situation, but
still far from rich... he went to university as well, and
also got his teaching degree... so, they both taught for 30
years, making a pretty good salary, so I grew up in a fairly
well off household... somewhere in the middle class...
upper-middle class maybe...

My mom werks in a Bank, my Dad in a factory. I hate them
both equally....no seriously.....they divorced 3 years ago,
and my dad is slowly becoming an alcholic........Oh well.

my dad was doing really well as Freight Manager in Stena
line ferries, all was good, then he got made redundant. We
had to cut back on almost everything, my mum had to take on
more jobs while my dad went back to uni - my mum had 6 jobs
going at once, one time.
Hopefully things will get better when my dad gets his new
job, after being in loads of short term placements.

I think I've had a really lucky upbringing, no break ups,
or MASSIVE financial disasters and we live in a fairly nice
area - shame about our town's high violence rate though.

Best thing about my upbringing is my parents' love for music
:D

Things would be different if i lived in the north, seems to
be a lot less money up there.

damn money, damn capitalism

my upbringing was far from perfect due to my brothers brain
tuma which took a big slice of normal life from me also my
mum and dad have gone there seperate ways but my mum and dad
are great people and i love them dearly, the split wasnt
nasty + i never seen them argue they are just so different
.life is to short to be unhappy grab what you can

upper middle class for half my life
middle class for other half
i was born a bastard and lived with my grandma and grandpa
and my mom at this really nice house in woodinville. i was
happy. Then my mom got married and we moved into an
apartment with the guy and then moved into a fairly nice
2,000 sq ft tri level house. but now my dads unemployed
cause his company went chapter 11 and after 9/11 the economy
for my state has just gone into a depression. so now he's
still unemployed and we might have to move out
soon....................i'm scared.
=(
