talk about a band that dominated the radio for years with
hit after hit that have somehow been completely forgotten.
why though? their songs are incredibly catchy and well
produced. and it's not like they're totally wrong for
today's music; weezer rip them off big time (with the help
of the cars' frontman, ric ocasek, who produced most of
weezer's albums). any fans here? i don't have any cd's, i
just was listening to some of their songs.

i wasn't aware they were so popular? they only had i big hit
in the UK called drive, around 1983/4

i own the CARS greatest hits.......and i have to say i
bought it for the song DRIVE......a song not sung by Ric
O.....but nevertheless just an amazing song.....i like
almost every song on there although it's been YEARS since
i've listened to it......yipes
