First off, I was off me chops so forgive the lack of clarity! For the first time there were no visuals (well, external ons anyway), no rephlex dancers...just the dj box and some dry ice. Ovuca.....amazing stuff, ambient, weird, wonderfull. Dancier than I remember the last album. Then Bogdan played a stormer! Was anticipating some weird folksy stuff but got Samurai Math Beat -type deep breaks with the guy himeself like a basketball player dancing around all gangley and shit. Then Aphex was on. Sporting what looked like to me a pirate shirt(!) he had his hair frimly down and played his most "straightest" set ever - i.e no sandpaper, news-radio footage or gabber but some classic afx, the second song from the Remixes single, Sqarepushers 'Exploding Psychology' which was mind blowing and a load of other fast rushy break beat stuff ...possibly off DrukQs, but i'm not sure. The weekend was rounded off by a 500 strong beach party the next evening with Aphex's mate Maddog Wallace giving the techno and house a breather with some great break beat, acid tracks.......oh MAMA! |

Sepix....my man, sorry ya didn't make it! Em, i also, eh..lost my fucking fun camera (and phone) that night so that's that! ?Before i lost the camera though, had a bit of a photo battle with one of the rephlex crew behind the dj box, as i donned my blonde Windowlicker wig. If any of 'em is reading this....please post some photos somewhere on the web!...... |

Hi friends!Richard knows very well what is a party.....how the people want dance and, for all kind the music he has made during the night....everybody danced...always!very nice!I went from Rome for see this event...and i can now say..i'll make all again....sure!Some people who i've talked there,said i'm crazy,and i was agree with them!I found there others 4 people went from Rome!! I'll never forget this experience...for the music,for the place and for the people that were there what do you think? see you next experience! Walter |
