I am downloading DrukQs, and out of the 7 songs I have downloaded so far, three are piano pieces...whats going on? Oh, and some of these tracks sound old, is this some sort of a compilation from the years of his work, cause some of it doesnt sound like it was written recently...

reflex, we're going to end up hating one another thanks to this mp3 debate.
there's alot of piano pieces it seems. i only heard 5 tracks, tho i have the full album, but they were mostly piano peices. very lovely.

His piano pieces are great, seemingly very Brian Eno-inspired, and they also sound a lot like my piano work, so of course I love them.
They still have his Richardisms though, with the catchy melodies and such. Those kind of melodies that you hear and somehow think they came out of your head at some point.
Richard may annoy a bunch of fans, but who cares? Its great shit, and every giant leap forward is bound to piss a lot of people off.
None of the spastic tracks have caught my fancy yet, except for Take Control which is wicked and kind of reminds me of new wave.
I'm definitely gonna buy it, might even buy the vinyl version too, as I've grown to love the sound of reverbed pianos playing on my turntable (I have quite a few Eno albums on vinyl)

These tracks are so obviously old one can trace them as far back as SAW and ABB3. If people cant see that this album is a filler, then they wont see much of anything. Fillers dont imply bad music, they just display a cavalier attitude towards their audience. Lets face it, if AFX truly cared for his 'fans' hed of released these old tracks years ago and would deliver the latest material hes dabbling in. I can only imagine the depths of sonique manipulation going on in the digital cauldran of the Twin.

i don't care how old or new the songs are. i like every single track he's put out except for "Ventolin" cause that high pitched sound gives me a horrible headache if i sit through the whole song. i wish that wasn't it it cause otherwise the track would be wicked nasty. but regardless, the album rocks. i don't think it's all that new, as the quiet piano peices haven't really been on anything before (like that at least)
i'm sure there's alot of new stuff on there.
