What do you think to him? I rekon he's really good,
different to anything else at the moment and more of a
parody on garage than a follower... very much like Red Hot
Car in many respects.

www.the-streets.co.uk for more info, ect.

yeah, got a lot of time for him...great little album; never
fails to raise a smile....

Dunno whether he's got the staying power to keep the quality
this high in the future...but whatever.. it's a classic
album....

My friend put it best, "More like audio entertainment than
great music". I think it's the sort of album (I haven't
heard all of it yet) that you won't listen to every week,
even in 6 months time like say, Geogadid or Drukqs, but one
that you dig out for a chuckle from time to time. I like his
irreverance and disregard for polishing his tracks and
production values. Really does give it a lo-fi bedroom
feel...

'Has it come to this' (owhh ohhh ohhh ohhh)

this track needs a dsico remix - I dig some of his tunes -
in fact I'm afraid but I really appreciate the UK garage
sound. 2 live crew stuffs are not so bad either ?

I haven't heard the whole album yet, but what I have heard
is great. His rhymes are really lucid and ring true, unlike
that 'poet' Eminem. Wot a geezah.

I heard that there a whole gangsta war in the UK garage
scene... like people shot during gigs.

I think that's just occasional outbreaks of violence and
media hype.

i think the violence is just from so soild crew with their
fake american accents.

the streets are really original with their style. good to
hear something new on the radio for a change.

good stuff but his voice annoys me after 2 songs.. great to
dip into. Anyone think Squarepusjers Ftrain is in anyway
similar but done the TJ way?

85% of the album is good I'd say. The other half is too
grotty, too much inner-cityness, no-optimism. Suprisingly,
he's one of the only artists I really listen to using mainly
vocals. Very different.

With out meaning to sound like a patronizing xenophobe, many
of the lyrics have British reference points. That doesn't
mean you foreigners won't like it but some of it may pass
you by.

It's not really for garage fans, its more for general music
fans who don't care about style or genre, and just want
something alernative. It's also highly taking the piss.

this album has really grown on me. when i first got it i
didn't think it was all that great but now i have been
listening to it obsesively.(spelling?) In fact i lent it to
a friend for a few days so that i could take a break from
it. the only song i don't like is that one about the terry
the alcoholic vs the weed smoker. My favorite track is the
Stop drinking Brandy song. His MC skills on that one are
SICK.
