hehe, I know this is a bit odd in an IDM forum but does
anyone esle love this gnere as much as I? Been listening to
a few of the Bonkers Compilations recently, awesome
stuff...if you're new to the genre, i'd say go with nakatomi
- children of the night, thats pretty old skool but it is a
swoit track...

for example, the voice that does the chorus in 'posse',
sound like a chipmunk to you? didnt you ever watch the show
with theodore and the crew?

A chipmunk... well I see what you're getting at. Tracks like
'No Release' and 'She Said' are the better side of Scooter
imo. The last thing I saw by Scooter was 'Happy Hardcore
Clips' and i'm getting 'Encore' on DVD next week.

Happy hardcore feels like an insult to electronic music,
whenever I hear it I cringe and feel like hurting
somebody...

i bought a comp once
i smashed it
maybe it was a bad comp
but i;ve never given it a second chance

How open minded you all are. It's not like I only listen to
Happy Hardcore. I have pleanty of VSnares thank you Ctrl Alt
Del

Scooter are not Happy Hardcore but they had a go at it
hence the video 'Happy Hardcore Clips'

Aneury, If you bought the comp and smahed it I don't think
you will ever get to give it a second chance.

That aside it depends on what you like so saying don't
listen to Happy Hardcore listen to someone you already have
albums by is a bit lame yeah? We all like all kinds of shit
so no biggie.

At least be constructive if your going to criticize but
having a one sided opinion like 'It's all bad!' cheapens how
seriously I will take any of your views in the future.

" i love happy hardcore!

Ditto. I can't get enough of scooter, I'd imagine it'd be a
fun or "happy" concert to go to anyway.
