I read this just now. I wonder... why should i care? I mean, yes it's horrible when anyone close to you dies, but why must this be reported by the media. It's insane. Why would anyone really care? Like i said, it's horrible when people close to you die, as I know very well myself, and I'm sure most of you would. And my sympathy goes out to him i suppose, as it's a shame. But reporting this in the media? I love that line from american beauty: "So what's new in the world Dad?" "This country is going straight to HELL!" funnyness. ok. i'm done. |

Goddamnit.... Well when someone dies on the news and they report it, its like the Nation should come to attention and take notice for this person who has died. They do it a lot on American television, but they do it lots here in Canada too. BIG DEAL - so many people die a day, that had families, had lifes, children, wifes and dreams and so on, we dont report about them. Its not a shame that we dont, its a shame that we DO report and make it important that people that pass our laws, and screw us around get the good attention. They afterall were a household name... Goddamn the world. |

I never got the whole Diana thing. she really didn't do that much. Yeah some charaties, or the whole land mine thing, wherever that was, but lots of people do a whole lot more that aren't nearly as fawned over as she was/is. Yes someone dying is (usually) awful. But the amount of attention she got was just silly. |
