we should take a vote on: What's the craziest drum 'n bass Artist/Song you've heard? I think the craziest I have heard is by Squarepusher.. a song called Go! Spastic, the whole thing isn't crazy but about halfway it gets like insane... but SwEET! |

Squarepusher may be the craziest.. or something like that. but its not the best in my opinion. to the majorities.. it would be some stupid ass candy raver songs.. but lots of DNB is good stuff IMO. Aphrodite, Roni Size, AK1200, The fresstylers.... lots. |

The craziest DnB I ever heard is 'Torture' by Panacea. I wouldn't say Squarepusher is really Drum n Bass, in the same his Red Hot Car sond isn't really garage - his shit's too unfunky and smart-arse to be proper jungle. |

I once borrowed this cd from some guy with some frantic dnb .. very very good .. only thing is i can't remember the name of anything (ive got it on md - no track names nu'ing). It had a bird (that had just hatched) on the cover being fed by its mother.. - quite a red bird and the rest of the cover was green with foliage type stuff. Released in 1997 - somewhat underground. VEry very cool.. I would highly recommend it - if only i could remember. |

Hey .. that guy from NZ .. about Concord Dawn. It's very Goldie like - Although dark .. which is good.. it is awfully formulaeic .0 vocal sample here and there (about like sci-fi type stuff) I don't know I guees Personally I prefer a more offkilter sort of more like broken up breaks and stuff.. like Squarepusher and stuff... Concord, although by NZ standards are good (and indeed are worshipped by the local music scene) I reckon they don't really deserve to be mentioned under craziest drum n bass. there .. my comprehensive opinion I am sure so many people dearly love and care about. ha! |
