Er, what's the word for those kind of songs? If you're open minded, I'd suggest the following songs:
Mogwai - Ex Cowboy Godspeed You Black Emperor! - World Police And Friendly Fire
Terris - Deliverance Super Furry Animals - Run! Christian, Run! -or- Mountain People
Spiritualized - The Individual Radiohead - Blow Out.
Some of which feature loud guitar parts, big feedback, and just loads of noise... or even big TECHNO. Once again, Geonime is going to try something new. The song I have so far is untitled, a little bit like 'Squarepusher's A Journey To Reedham (7am mix)'. It isn't quite working though, if it can build up to a big climax, mmm. I have a question for you now, what's the best way to add feedback without the 'loud click' distortion I usually get when the volume goes too high?
Also... a non-build up song I'd like to recommend is 'Restless' by Clifford Gilberto Rhythm Combination. It's excellent.

Two more rock, less electronic songs that build very well:
'Exit Music (For A Film)' by Radiohead 'Pushit' by Tool

hmm, i really, really like the song by the album leaf called "a short story". it's over 25 minutes i believe, and is one of the coolest songs to build up, climax, and just kinda taper off.
