Im listening to An Eagle In Your Mind and can easily picture the praries...the cities...the country side of Canada. I don't know. BOC is just so Canadian to me despite them being Scotish. This song just makes me so proud to be Canadian :) There's one part that makes me wanna stand up and that part is the massivly beautiful 3:06 - 3:21. that low flute sound that does its little thing around 17-19 of those seconds is just awesome. :)

comeon I am planning on visiting Canada oneday..dont tell me the boring tones of Boreds of Canada is like the score to which all Canada modulates and aligns it self...
I saw Manitoba live a couple of weeks ago...his own IDM songs were few and far between..he kept spinning crowd pleasing Big Beat and house...kinda bored the hell outta me

some of the tracks from BOC really resemble the prarie lands...which you may not be going to. i bet you'd go to ontario or british columbia...those arnt' prarie lands...

Yes, BoC are very nature sounding. And much of canada is still very pristine and natural. And a lot of the titles on MHTRTC are related to canada, if i'm not mistaken. "Kaini Industries" is a company that somehow worked with or is owned by the Cree tribe. Pete Standing Alone is a member of a Canadian tribe as well.
Man, if we didn't have the British Isles to make good music, I don't know what I'd do.

snow board??? no man..no no no...boards of canada = the national film board of canada...which is like store house of sorts for a ton of canadian films whether cartoons or educational series...documentaries and so on. i guess you could say it was like a production house too...they made the films.
