on the radio.

I dont really like'm. Its ok though. Hey - Read my post
about the album tracks..... why will people get mad at me
for making a choice?

geonime from geoworld on 2001-08-21 03:11 [#00023573]

He said "But ReFLEX, come on, you did make some people feel
like shit by not putting them on this thing."

You can't blame people for being a bit disappointed, but you
were right to make a choice and stick to it.

Geomine: ah yes.. geomine... what a name. well er.... I
guess *thanks?* are in order for that.. Id unno I think that
it can't be helped, but when making an omelett you gotta
break some eggs right?. I dunno.. thats a bad analogy. But
it works.

Organ Grinder/Rujdq Julqghu from my own little fantasy world on 2001-08-21 03:37 [#00023577]

bah..... those tracks sucked anyways that i sent.

i just didn't feel like sending you one of my best because
my best songs are about 10-13 minutes long and i don't have
five hours to sit and wait for it to mail.... it probably
would have gone shit anyways.

sorry for being an arsehole, reflex. hope the album is good,
dammit! :)

did you tell phobiazer0?

Sound Assassin from Patent Office UK on 2001-08-21 14:43 [#00023665]

The album is alright, some quite nice studio/sampling
trickery going on, thats IF you can get past Damon's singing
(personally I hate Blur) which makes Gorillaz pretty hard to
listen to, I do love the samples from Day of the Dead
though, Zombie films rule!

Have fun.

od: yeah I told him!

slow country is a good song... as is left hand suzuki
method.... in fact i have left hand suzuki method on vinyl..
it runs at 45 but it sounds wicked if you play it at 33.

(Gorillaz have a 19/2000 ep)

I have Day of the Dead AND Dawn of the Dead on VHS, as a
matter of fact.

r3fl3x from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-21 21:02 [#00023740]

I have all the hell raisers, evil dead 1, 2 and 3 {army of
darkness} and dawn of the dead.. hehee.. thats it for
horror.

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-08-21 22:28 [#00023761]

its wicked. WEll recommend that oen to everyone :)

r3fl3x from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-21 22:37 [#00023763]

eh?

Organ Grinder from my own little fantasy world on 2001-08-21 22:46 [#00023766]

yes they are quite wicked. i wonder what would happen if
they played live.... would they dress up as cartoon
characters or just play a movie on this big screen?

i heard from someone that the Gorillaz album is just a
soundtrack for a site called... believe it or not...
Gorillaz.com. Apparently this site was around long before
the album, and the characters have adventures or some stuff
like that...

i'm not big on blur, but i don't mind the singer's vocals in
Gorillaz. The rapping by Del tha Funky Homosapien makes up
for it -- as well as scratching.

Woo-hoo.

r3fl3x from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-08-21 23:01 [#00023772]

Del tha Funky Homosapien's regular stuff is pretty cool.
Dont much enjoy the Gorillaz.

Del tha Funky Homosapien's... Mr doubleena, mr bob
doubleena!
