Look, I read today all the messages you posted about how "childish" I'm being and how much you think I'm a jerk. This has to fucking stop, it is not why I came to this forum. I came here because I love Aphex Twin's music, and while I was here I learned about many more great artists. This message board also inspired me to begin making my own music. I have contributed to it, and got things back... I love it here, which is why I do not want there to be this tension between us any more. It's that bloody CD, it caused all this, and I admit I acted like an arsehole but so did you. I wouldn't be like that if it wasn't provoked. You were acting elitist, like you were superior to everyone in many ways, and just generally annoying. When we chatted in ICQ it just developed into a big raging argument. Although it amused me at the time, I now feel frustrated that I even argued in the first place. This is not what the internet is about, it is about sharing ideas and information with other like-minded people. I really don't care if I'm on the CD anymore, what's important is that I'm making music in the first place, learning and improving all the time. When I come here I don't want to think to myself "oh no what's his argument this time?". I posted our conversation because of the frustration, I admit it was a childish (yes) thing to do. I apologise for this, and whatever other stress I caused you. See, this is not childish, I'm doing the right thing in apologising. Someone has to do it. I hope you will apologise also, and we can get this sorted out and get on with things. |

Let me add that I don't think you are talentless, nor do I think my song is a classic. Once again, this was just childish behavior. I'm happy for you with your new equipment, and I strongly hope you DO make decent music with it. The more people creating electronic music, the better. |

I am not confused one bit. It was an argument, people throw insults at eachother, people do things to annoy eachother. Nobody was wrong and nobody was right, it's just something that happened. This wil never be resolved until you're prepared to accept that. |

i didn't get on the cd i know. no one has any right to say whether someone's product is music or not. and i'm not going to make any excuses. Because my music is MY music and i don't care if everyone else dislikes it. Fuck them. It's music to me. Geonime, i'm not trying to take sides, but don't worry what people think about your music. But ReFLEX, come on, you did make some people feel like shit by not putting them on this thing. |

Geonime: Im sorry, but I accepted that a long time ago. I think that was evident in my past posts and even the one I sarted name "Important" which as it happens got ruined by "someone?". So let it be at that. Please dont try any "up" yourself one because you came out and apologized first or something and made yourself look like the bigger man or whatever in this situation. Organ Grinder: Dont start on me d00d. Please, what was I supposed to do!? Have favourites, and let everyone get on the CD even though my guidelines were simple, take out the bad songs, and take out the songs that dont fit with the rest of the CD, just because someones song didn't make it on the CD doesn't mean their song was bad. I cant help it either way. I wasn't about to give Phobiazero something he wasn't going to put on the site anyway. If I didn't cut the songs, he or someone else would have. |
