Looking for good music?

tonyp from london on 2001-08-20 10:52 [#00023289]

i ment wheres your underground stuff labels like mego,
carpark records, worm interface, tressor etc. Although they
are not that underground

I'm not mainstream and safe. But I don't only listen to
electronic music. Electronic music takes up about 4% of my
cd collection, which is 300+, and not one of them is listed
on my mp3 list there.

But why is everyone attacking Reflex?
Why do you people constantly have to put down and make fun
of others. You're not contrubuting to the conversation, so
don't bother speaking. Make up your own post so it's much
easier for people like me to ignore your idiotic posts. It's
pathetic and lame to come on here and argue and call
eachtother stupid. Calling Reflex a loser or whatever cause
he has a list of his albums.... very clever. Once you get up
to that many (which i'm at as well), it really helps so you
can easily send a list of your albums, instead of just
saying various band names, when trading mp3's and whatnot.

I think someone on this board summed it up perfectly a week
or so ago.

"Arguing on the net is like racing in the special olympics.
You may win, but in the end, you're still a retard."

Reflex: Maybe I didn´t get what you were saying? Are all
those original albums? I just seems a bit unlikely to me
since some of the BoC- stuff was limited to like 18
cassette-copies or whatever. But if you really got your
hands on some of those old rarities I applaude you..

zetre: naw..... a lot of them are mp3, and many of them are
real. There is a good mix of both. Thanks!

Barret: thanks alot! really!

Syd... that quote was excellent. My music collection is the
same, most of my CDs are rock and indie, I have only 4
electronica albums which are:

Aphex Twin - ICBYD
Two Lone Swordsmen - Tiny Reminders
Squarepusher - Go Plastic
The Braindance Coincidence

most of my electronica is on my PC and there still is a
ratio of like 8000000:1.

said about me? geezus.

my collection is 33/33/33

my cd's are 1/3 electronica -- mostly AFX, Squarepusher, and
Warp/Rephlex... though i do own some chemical brothers and
crystal method but i rarely listen to them.

then i have 1/3 metal music -- static-x, system of a down,
sepultura, etc. and some death metal

then i hae 1/3 miscellaneous stuff -- beatles, blue man
group, radiohead's kid a, beck, nirvana, etc.
