this has prolly been stated in here, but since the search
function is shite, i´ll just say it:

i just got "to record only water for 10 days" by John
Frusciante, and i must say, it is one of the best records
i´ve heard this year.

that´s all. see ya.

i still need to buy that one! I'm looking forward to it
since i loved his first solo-album so much... one of my
favourite records of all time probably.

But i'm expecting "to record..." to be available for half
price pretty soon... most stores stocked huge piles of it...
and probably nobody is interested in it, so it's bound to go
on sale sooner or later ;-)

Personally i think the chili-peppers are getting better and
better... "by the way" is the first album by them where i
actually liked all the songs!

I think rhcp suck and always have. that by the way track is
easily the worst song theyve ever done. john frusciantes
solo stuff is interesting though.

well i had to resuscitate this thread to praise john
frusciantes new album - shadows collide with people - its
a bit more accesable in some ways and theres a few more
instrumental numbers but its addictive as fuck!

if you liked "to record only water for ten days" you will
like it!

it's funny, cause he's a real big fan of Fennesz and
Ekkehard Ehlers... i read somewhere that he actually had
Ehlers join rhcp on stage in new york or something... which
makes no sense at all... but if it did happen, i find it
very funny...

yeah, i've heard before he likes electronic music...not for
particulary fennesz tho. he's a funny guy, but obviously
knows good music. he apperantly produced some music for
gallo's brown bunny - i haven't heard much of it, but what i
have it sounded very ambiental

i downloaded some tunes now...there's a nice noise-ambient
kind of track, the rest of them i only listened to once and
i have the impression that "to record only water..." was
better, or at least much more up to my taste

Couldn't agree more! Amazing musicians these guys.
