Greg Egan is certainly interesting, although a little
obtuse a times. Worth the effort, especially for those
interested in post-human philosophical trajectories. I love
RAW, but mainly his model -agnostic fueled non-fiction.

Just found an alarmingly large stack of Asimov and Orson
Scott Card while cleaning out my old room. Card's work can
be quite impressive, but I think Asimov is still my old
favourite. I have an enormous amount of respect for that
man and his written work in all fields of study.

I haven't bothered to see if anyone else said this, but:
Orson Scott Card. specifically the Ender's Game series [the
first 4 original books].

command of the english language was impecable.

really? well it's an amazing trilogy but not when they get
people like will smith as the main character. i've lost
faith in film makers ability to do adapations the right way
