I love all those sites about serial killers and that crazy
stuff. Viva la morbidity!

I used to read books on all sorts of sickos, serial killers,
mass murderes, insane crimes.... it is really interesting.
Ed didnt really kill that many people, he was just one
REALLY sick person. It always amazed me as to how someone
could end up thinking that it was OK to do anything remotly
that fucked up.

There was a movie made last year or the year before on Ed
Gein. It's called "Ed Gein" believe it or not. Not that
great, but tells the story pretty well.

"All in all, he was a perfectly amiable, even docile
patient, one of the few in the hospital who never required
tranquilizing medications to keep his craziness under
control. Indeed, apart from certain peculiarities -- the
disconcerting way he would stare fixedly at nurses or any
other female staff members who wandered into his line of
vision -- it was hard to tell that he was particularly crazy
at all…"

he probably needed some place where he would live in a
strict schedule, with constant supervision..
