Does anyone know a media player for PCs that can play
Quicktime MOV files, so that I don't have to install that
dreadful, shite, bollucks Quicktime on my machine?

Mant thanks

Quite a lot of the quicktime stuff on the 'net uses the
Sorenson codec, which you're only going to get in the real
thing so you might as well install it.

Tip: set your computer clock forward a few years before you
install, go back to today, and then you won't get nagged
every time you play a movie.

I think I'll keep on searching for an alternative...
Quicktime and Realplayer are the epitome of shite spyware
that I loathe.

SOMEONE must have written a player... maybe they got hunted
down by the evil American giants

Is Quicktime spyware? I thought it was just nagware. Ad
aware didn't report anything suspicious on my laptop after
an install.

it pops up whenever it fancies... It finds out about
"updates" (and probably uploads viewing info at the same
time!)

I thinks it's spyware

It's TOO BIG!!
why can't it just be a little 500k player?

No spyware in quicktime that i'm aware of, other than
requests to get quicktime pro.

I dont know of any other programs that will play .mov files.
