Hi all,
I'm considering signing up to paypal to buy some goods. Can
someone explain briefly exactly how the system works as the
"Terms & conditions" page seems to be down on the site and
I'm reluctant to sign up till I read it.

Cheers.

Argh! took me ages to sign up for that!

But very helpful for ebay!

I didnt read the terms and conditions... but I think Pay Pal
gets a dollar or 2 when ever you use it to pay for
something.

How does it work with foreign currencies?

Are there any sort of guarantees on it (e.g. if someone
doesn't pay you/ship goods)?

Is it a percentage they take or a fixed fee?

I think its all US Currency,

And as for Guarantees.... Hmmm... not sure..

Do your best to do some more research before you sign up,
ok!

I've used it a fair bit without any problems....it's all in
US$ but the conversation is easy...

They bill your CC $5 when you sign on and you get that back
when you first pay for something with the service...

Payments don't cost anything; the person receiving it pays
like 2% or something like that.....

They send you a secret number on your CreditCard statement
which you yhen fill in & your then a full member...

Bit long winded but they explain fairly well as you go
along....

I ain't got any complaints....it's bloody handy for buying
stuff on ebay....
