is it me or did axl rose look ridiculous at the MTV VMA?
his voice was awful and he kept redoing the same cheesy
moves he did 10 years ago...

dont badmouth axl now, y'hear?
well i didnt see him at the vma but saw em at leeds
festival, and they put on quite a show. doin that crazy
sidestep dance right across the stage.

promptly bought 'appetite for destruction'. haha not my
scene but i love it.

ps axl is still wearing the same clothes as he did 10 years
ago though. minus the hotpants.

Buckethead is now in the band. Repeat: Buckethead.

buckethead rules.
he does awesome guitar solos
he wears a fast food meal deal container on his head & a
white mask.
he dances like a crazed robot.

therefore the man is correct. they 'rock ass'.

the only interest I have in G'n'R is of the morbid curiosity
kind..like the one that possess you driving past a train
wreck..just how big a celebrity tabloid drug fuelled
sodomizing massacre..it's gonna turn into..

I mean Marilyn Manson post Antichrist Superstar..is a
joke..but a good entertaining joke...

well he looked and sounded like an old fat prick out of
breath on tv but my friend saw him in london(before the mtv
thing) recently and said it was fuckin amazing. cant hold
his voice for more than a few shows i reckon. and he's
ginger. unlucky. fake ginger.

who's this 'buckethead' you people speak of?

and was it me, or was that robin finck of nin playing
guitar??

damn! cant believe he left nin for gnr! why did he do
that?

robin fink was kinda hired on after and i mean VERY AFTER
slash, then gnr was not going to go on tour, so robin hooked
back up with nin for the fragile tour (get teh dvd, robin
shaves his head !!) robin recorded tracks on the new gnr
album Chineese Democracy (whenever its gonna hit the
stores?) (probably never) and hes helping finish with the
record.

i prefer him in nin, hes absolutely crazy live !!

cos trent doesn't need robin on tour right now, and robin's
not much of a studio musician. trent's a much better guitar
player, which is kinda funny since trent never took lessons
in guitar to my knowledge. (p.s. danny is a better guitarist
than both of them, but he's also the best bassist so that's
what he did the most live.)

so youre saying robin is with gnr since he has nothing to do
of importance with nin. that's good then! there's still a
hope he'll continue touring with nin eventually then (i
guess).

funny that you say trent's a better guitarist than robin,
because i always read trent saying he wasnt a good guitarist
at all, he taught himself how to play, but wasnt that good.

but lohner on the other hand... very talented.

it's certainly possible, even likely, that he will tour with
nin again :)

trent's very modest. he says he can't play guitar, but
listen to nin albums. he's phenomenal. sure, he has guests
sometimes but most of it is him. and when he has guests, he
still writes the parts almost always.

i'm looking forward to some danny lohner recordings.
there've been a ton of projects mentioned but nothing has
materialized.

trent does lots of layering with his guitar, very nice
addition
