prolly the same thing he's "doing" with aphex twin - they
were all on the same cancelled compilation (writing music
for some comedian or writer? i don't remember).

Amon Tobin is AWESOME!!! I have Supermodified, and
Permutations is in the mail bitches!!! :)

Seriously, I just love his style, it's so cool... and I've
listened to numerous samples from Permutations, and it
sounds fantastic, can't wait to get it!!

Boards of Canada, I love them to death too... can't wait for
a new album by them...

again: maybe? i dunno, it's mentioned on amon tobin's site
and there was a thread about it on the board. the topic was
something like "amon tobin and aphex twin?"

ninja tune is an awesome label! almost as good as warp in
terms of consistently high calibre artists and releases.

I've really only hear Amon Tobin and Cinematic Orchestra
from Ninja Tune, but both are tops in my mind... and I
definitely look at Ninja Tune as a top quality label, like I
did Warp when I first began to get into electronic music...

funk: you can buy Xen Cuts, a THREE DISC ninja tune sampler
featuring all of the artists on the label, for a mere $17.99
at bestbuy.com or for a similar low price at bn.com. both
have free shipping. it would be an EXCELLENT primer for you,
there're so many awesome songs and artists on there.

actually man, I was looking at it last week... I had it in
my hand, and was about to buy it, but damn, it was like
close to 30 bucks where I saw it, and I just couldn't bring
myself to spend that much... I had just bought a LOAD of
cloths, and I regularly buy too many cds, so even though
it's an excellent price for three cds, with all the spending
I had done I couldn't bring myself to buy it... but
hopefully it'll be there in the future when I am willing to
buy!! :)

you'll love it.

I've been hearing about Cinematic Orchestra a lot lately, I
should look them up.

As for Amon+BOC... I'm kind of indifferent. When artists
work together, I rarely like the result anyway.

I love Tobin and BOC for such different reasons, and maybe
this contrast will result in some badass tune(s)... but I
don't like artist co-ops.

order online? Never!! Seriously though, in most places you
need a credit card, which I don't have... so I'll just get
it from the store here in town eventually... 25+ dollars
(which it was) is still a great price for three discs...

All Things to All Men is an AMAZING track boyees!!! It is so
touching, the words, the music, and even the way he speaks
the words... it's gorgeous!!! And then the harp solo after
the vocals, oh my... :)

this is Cinematic Orchestra by the way...

funk: you can pay by money order! all you'd have to do is go
to the post office or a gas station to get one. why rip
YOURSELF off?
