I resign from making music!

2/9/2002

I hereby announce my resignation from the creation of
electronic music.

This is a hard decision I have come to, and has been forced
upon me by a myriad of factors, some of which are listed
below.
· My left leg hurts profoundly when I’m on the computer
due to positioning
· RSI in my right arm prevents me from using the mouse for
any significant period of time.
· Prolonged sessions in front of monitors has left me with
a ‘dry-eyes’ condition
· Windows ME crashes very, very, very often. This is very
demoralising and frankly, quite insulting. Even though I
have now put a 1.1Ghz CPU in I am still experiencing the
same problems of the PC crashing too often.
· I have come to the slight conclusion that no electronic
musician will ever be considered very seriously, and that if
total world domination is required, acoustic instruments
must be implemented and new skills learnt.

I shall therefore be concentrating on learning the Piano,
and maybe later the guitar.

I shall sorely miss the exclusion of creating this music in
my life as I have been doing it since I was 14.

Wish me luck!

:-)

If you can play a piano you can also play a synth(with
keyboard), right? You don't need a computer to make
electronic music...

that's the idea robert del naja (massive attack) had/worked
on
to sample a piano that turns into a guitar sound or
something alike

if i were blind, and had no arms or legs i would still try
to create music. i love it so much, i would never resign
from it.

good luck, nonetheless.
