Has anyone played this yet(for any system)? The previews made it look decent but I know the last few weren't very good.. Could anyone direct me towards a review? |

They're not professional reviews... in fact, a lot of the reviewers on Gamefaqs are 12 year old clueless fucks. But some of them know what they're talking about, maybe these reviews will tell you something. |

Thanks. Hmm... Out of the four reviews, three of them were very positive although the most disagreeable one(4/10) was very thorough and well written.. The others lacked the integrity and left something to be desired. Makes me a bit nervous. Hope they have it for rent at Blockbuster, I hate buying and returning games to EB. I feel like I let them down.. |

I wanna know what it's like! I bet its ruff n' tuff.....I love Turok games, all that senseless ,unnecessary violence. I'm itching for its UK release.....some say 26th September, others say this Friday,(pleeeeeaaase this Friday!!) Nintendo always seem to fuck up UK releases announcing one date and actually releasing about 4months later....bastards. |

After further play, here's my official review and score for Turok(Xbox version) : +Lush Atmospheres. The fauna is especially impressive.. A wide range of animals : Gazelles, crocodiles, baboons, lemurs, parrots, and of course dinosaurs... that actually have realtime bowel movements! "That is one big pile of shit." +pterradactyl levels make for a nice change of pace... -..from the monotony of typical FPS stages. Find key, get to top of mountain, kill evil minions, yaddayaddayadda. -The much acclaimed A.I. is subpar at BEST. I found myself constantly engaging in staring contests with the opposition until their idle animations caused them to look away which in turn provoked me to scatter their innards across the landscape... Meanwhile their shit-for-brains comrades standing less than 7 feet away scratch their asses and look on oblivious. -Cycling through weapons while getting your head chewed on is a real bitch. -Crap voice acting, crap dialogue, and crap cutscenes. I could add more but why bother? Bottom line : Don't waste your time on this mammoth pile of poo poo. If you're looking for a good FPS, pick up Halo or wait and see how Timesplitters turns out. Final score : 5/10 |
