i was a bit disappointed of "Deadringer". Being hyped as the
new DJ Shadow or something. Still, "The Horror" and " Let
The Good Times Roll Pt.1" are great tracks

I've only heard the Promo mp3s of Dead Ringer - I liked it
quite a bit and preferred it to Private Press

i don't understand why tta are so appreciated
i don't find nothing special about them
they don't stand out
nothing new in their music imo

i need to stop caring about what people buy cos i still
can't believe you bought TTA in the store for god knows how
much when you could've gotten it for ten bucks at the hefty
site directly. not only is it cheaper for you, hefty makes
more money. also you could've gotten the double disc reissue
of the cujo album on the ninjatune site for very cheap
versus the old single disc american version you probably
bought, with the mislabeled track.

but i digress. good purchases.

i "don't get" rjd2's album. i downloaded about half of it
and it sounds very "same"-y to me. it's good but it could've
been one song developed differently. the best parts were the
guest vocals from talented underground emcees. i think rjd2
is a great producer but calling him "the new dj shadow"
right now is premature. also i still "don't get" what was so
horrible about the private press, i love that album.
