Nope. However the photography was stunning. As for the
content, I would be interested to see how the film would
have turned out had Kubrick lived to finish editing it, but
as far as I'm concerned twas pretty poor.

I agree with TonyFish. very surreal imagery, but the movie
itself was lacking. certainly not one of Kubrick's bests, if
you ask me.

The orgy scene was amazing!
Heh I know what you're thinking but I actually mean the bit
before with the circle of masked people. Wow !

Loads of film reviews amongst loads of tasty stuff but a
word of warning not all the reviews are good. The Requiem
for a dream and Pi one's are though.

I only ever seen it at the cinema ,never felt inclined to
watch it again, but I thought it was a brilliant film.
The last line sums it up pretty much.......how does it
go....."so lets go back home and fuck"...hehe,something like
that.

Can someone explain the point of the movie? I was really
confused watching it.

It would take to long to explain,so think about the last
line, and the rest of the movie.

from what i understand, the film shows you the diverse form
of sexuality (orgy, prostitute, indidelity,
child/adolescent, threesome, while under the influence of
drugs...). the story itself wasnt mindblowing, but the
broader story was excellent i thought.

that's what i got from it, not the official interpretation
though.

fuck the film, that tailors daughter was fucking mint.

he's not a tailor! He's a costume shop owner!

I didn't expect much from it going into the film (it was the
2nd film of a double feature, I decided to stick around),
but was very pleasantly surprised, it is quite good!

i thought this film was "good" (not great or excellent, but
above average). not kubrick's best but still an interesting
film with good acting. touches on some sexual topics that
few movies will delve into.

it was weird, good, bad....sorry to see Kubrick died a few
weeks/days before finishing the editting....if only he
coulda been around to fix the mistakes made with AI.

i thought Eyes Wide Shut was flawed but interesting, good
and bad... but visually artistic, like all his movies, and
while i didn't really think Cruise and Kidman were
appropiate, Cruise does play selfish smugness well. the
movie makes you think, even if you don't agree with some
things... i compared it with American Beauty that came out
the around the same time, but i think that Eyes Wide Shut is
more interesting.
