In the Studio??

D-Hex from KC Missouri on 2001-03-28 22:57 [#00001770]

In the newest alternative press with Outkast on the front,
there is a feature towards the front of the magazine that
shows what bands are in the studio.......well guess who was
mentioned! Limp Bizkit!!! no just kidding , Richard! Also
there is an interview with Outkast and they talk for about a
paragraph about aphex and say how richard is the man. Well,
i just thought id pass that along....

No shit! i should buy that. I'm interested in hearing what
Outkast have to say about Mr. James. i've got an issue of
Mean magazine with an interview by Beck with Outkast, and
they get asked what their favorite NWA album is. Big Boi:
"Niggaz4Life!" Dre:"Niggaz4Life!" Beck:"Efil4Zaggin." i
started laughing for some reason.

hearing that rich is in the studio made my day, i saw on the
weekly polls that most everyone thought that more vocals in
his new songs would suck, i hate to disappoint everyone but
i read an artical not to long ago that quoted, said,
"excpect more volcals!"

get ready for more songs like 'milkman' and 'beatles'

yo dudes, richey boy is always in the studio, cos he lives
in it. So it dosnt mean hes making music, hes just "in the
studio". probably making a cup of tea.
sorry to dash your hopes and all, you'll get over it though,
take sum valium or summin.

AFXDUB from canada on 2001-03-29 09:08 [#00001836]

Ill have to agree with alan... he, pretty much lives in
one... its his bedroom!. and he records stuff all the time,
just doesn't release it to the public, only for his personal
shit. Supposedly there are tons of tapes and so on of his
stuff that he has... just lying around. I wonder how much
most of us would pay for that kind of stuff?..

YES !!!!!!

ross on 2001-03-29 19:06 [#00001905]

Richard said in an old interview that if you sent him money,
he would be willing to hook you up with some tapes of stuff
he\'s been working on, im not sure if this was completely
serious, but i dunno.

D-Hex from KC Missouri on 2001-03-29 19:27 [#00001907]

yeah, i understand he lives in the studio but the feature in
the magazine is called 'tracking' and i dont understand why
they would put aphex in this particular issue and not all
the other ones. I know im stretching it here, but i just am
hoping for a new album!!!! If the songs can be anywhere
close to windowlicker ill flip.

i'd love to hear more songs like alberto balsalm or milkman
or next heap with or pulsewidth or maybe even come to daddy,
but i'd love it if he did an entire album of songs like
bucephalus bouncing ball. hell, i'd buy it if it contained
26 remixes of bucephalus...

What was this article I once read that Richard's new album
was going to be done with Mike Pop's Orchestra ... and it
was called something like 'Freebase Connection' ... did this
ever happen??

crapnose from Montreal on 2001-03-30 13:19 [#00002089]

i think "Freebase Connection" was a Mike Flowers Pops song
that Richard remixed. http://www.joyrex.com there's some
info in the remixes section.

hexane from Melbourne on 2001-03-30 13:22 [#00002090]

i'd love to stick a bug in his recorder and channel any
sound rich records to a remote "surveillance" device
(located at my house). that would be wicked...

Quoth from Lincoln on 2001-04-01 18:39 [#00002272]

Wouldn't we all Hexane... say, RDJ still lives in Cornwall,
correct? How big is that town/city (don't know what the fuck
to call it:)
