Just saw this at luke vibert site
"Frances: So you do create music quicker now? Luke: No, much slower. I could easily do three or four tracks a day in the old days but now it's like one every couple weeks. But that's still quite quick compared to some of me mates. Aphex Twin is on a really slow one at the moment - like three or four months to do a tune, but he can be worse than that, take three or four months on a snare drum."

Interesting. I also read on a warp press release that in 1997 he produced 200 tracks. Will wonders ever cease?

He said Mt Saint Michael only took him about 4 or 5 days from start to finish, and that other tracks he could get a few in on a normal day.
But everyone here knows that Richard would never lie...

mine takes months or years doesn´t make ´em better tho i´m just slow and lazy and thorough i haven´t really finished any tunes to be honest
