What I mean is, do you collect lots of stuff to make your
room really individual and stuff? I myself have Japanese
Anime Action figures, Anime Wallscrolls/Posters, 4 vid game
consoles, 2 bean bags, lava lamps, japanese fans. I love my
room :)

somehow I really would like to blow up your room now..

anyways, I collect large movieposters, but I don't have that
much space. at the moment up on my walls are: akira, rear
window, happiness, the limey. I still have 2001 to hang up,
and the new Woody Allen (can't remember the name).

my room's a mess. Only recently got down all of the Oasis
posters. Used to have 2 whole walls covered. I'm keeping up
my massive Ash - Angel Interceptor, Jackie Brown and The
Royle Family posters though. Gotta get my recently purchased
massive green/grey Rephlex poster up where Brett Anderson
and Liam Howlett's gangs used to be.
At the moment I've got an original press of Never Mind The
Bollocks borrowed from a mate, kicking album. I think I'll
listen to it at 45. blah blah blah rant rant rant.

Yes, I do!
I collect pictures I like.(NOT from popstars etc, but old

Boeddha,Krishna,...)
I almost have one wall filled =o)
But I also collect other stuff.
Everything has to fit together, and I really gotta like it.
I LOOOVE seventies and sixties design.
it's quite an expensive style. =o)

I don't have any posters, plants or decorative objects
whatsoever. My room seems cleaner this way. I like it
minimal.

Whilst in Greece I nearly bought one of those tacky
renaissance style paintings of Christ from a market stall,
but they didn't have one of him in the pose I wanted. I was
tempted to buy a flashing LED one of the Madonna as a gift
for my catholic mate to wind him up.

It was the Saints day of the saint of the island and there
was this massive procession with the mummy of the saing in a
glass box paraded through the streets. Mental fun.

Sorry Mickey.

Ceri: have some respect for our icons. Catholicism is not to
be guffawed at young man!

There's a famous pose of Christ wearing red and blue robes
doing the thing bishops do with the index and middle finger
pointing upwards, looking skywards with a golden light in
the background. I want a good print of that as it looks like
Jesus is doing kung fu "sword fingers".

Seriously though, I find most of the icon merchandise really
tacky, those little plastic neon Mary with Child statuets
you see on dashboards etc. look like a piss take. Mind you,
with the irreverant nature of typical Greek Orthodox
followers it may well be...

Lately I've been collecting a lot of "official" signs from
outside...whatever I can find lying around that doesn't take
too much effort to steal.

I also enjoy collecting flight safety cards from passenger
aircraft.

I was looking at them on my holiday, I think the very clean
clinical look to the pictures is quite unsettling.

I work in a cinema, so covering my walls with posters is no
trouble.. I have very little wall space free.
Other than the posters in my room, my cd's are growing
slowly up my wall. It gets scary when you put a money value
on it all though.
