I've Seen the Light

Well, i've had Drukqs for almost a year now and i finally
like it, really like it. When i bought it, i was thinking it
was a mixed bag, but after a nonstop listen today i realized
that it contains eight or nine of the best AFX songs
released.
I've been listening to AFX since SAW2 came out and none of
his albums have taken this long to grow on me. Maybe i'm
late joining the party on this one, but i just want to say
how great this album is.

Wait to you realize that all the songs are good. (with the
exception of Lornaderek)

I don't know if you can count Bit as a song. Gwarek 2 is
something i don't think i'll ever like. But the three song
ultra set that is Cock/Ver10-avril14th-Mt. St. Michel more
than make up for any deficiency.

Mt.St.Michel is good EXCEPT the 2nd part. I hate it when RDJ
uses singing.

it always sounds shit to me.

i like the singing. i think its effective in the track.
the problem i had with this album before was that it seemed
random, like he was just laying on layers of "tripping over
myself" programming. More special effects than substance. I
don't find that problem anymore.

Drukqs is beautiful in it's own way. A little rough around
the edges perhaps, but it definitely grows on you.

I saw the light the first time I downloaded Cockver10 and
shook my ass to those manic beats. And I don't think my
opinion on the album changed at all, the stuff I hated when
I got it, I STILL hate.

I guess it's a ''grower'', but for me, it was just instant.
