wassup wassup... :D I just got back from my trip to
Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle, Washington. It was fucking
awesome, Seattle is a tight ass town, as is Vancouver
(mainly cuz of the weed situation there, hehe =p). The
experience music project in seattle was fucking great, I
spent most of my time there jamming in the sound lab, and
went twice. Vancouver was beautiful, my hotel room was
overlooking a huge lake of some kind, and what I think was
Grouse Mountain (which I also visited; it was breathtaking).
The Space Needle in seattle was really cool as well, and I
visited the China Town of both cities. I bought a tight
little Ocarina at Pike's Market in Seattle, my favorite
souvenier(sp) of the trip. I took a total of 4 rolls of film
for 2 cities :) If you live in N. America and need a good
vacation spot, I recommend visiting either of these cities,
or better yet, both, as I did. ;)

I tried to get a new pipe in vancouver, but my dad was with
me basically the whole time and I needed to be covert about
it, so I didn't risk it, all tho I saw some badass ones
there... cheap too! =/

werd to all my B.C. brothas in da house. :)

one of my favourite architects Frank Gehry designed the EMP
and i've wanted to see it because of that.

the 'lake' you saw is actually 'the straight of georgia' it
leads to the pacific ocean.

did you go to the capilano suspension bridge a little ways
down from grouse?

did you see the worlds 'thinnest' building in china town
vancouver..??..i was UNDERWHELMED....eheheh

did you get to wander stanley park in
vancouver...??...absolutely beautiful!!

i've been to seattle and vancouver so much i feel right at
home in both places and you're right it's a place of beauty
and high in the mountains a certain stillness that i LOVE!

Yep, I went over the capilano suspension bridge, and no, I
didn't get to see stanley park =(, but in Grouse Mountain I
took the ski lift up and then went past the "boundaries" and
explored the wilderness for aBOOT (hehe =p) an hour, saw a
couple wild grouses, and took some totally amazing pictures!
it was soooooo fun! (btw, im a real outdoorsy type person,
went to some areas that were probably a little dangerous in
terms of footing and very steep CLIFFS, but I'm daring :))

do you live in seattle or vancouver? I would LOVE to be able
to visit them often, I just got back today and already I
want to visit again!

oh yeah, and the EMP was a totally magnificent building (but
the real treasure is on the inside ;)), I got some pics of
it at night, one of which has the space needle lit up right
behind it, hehehe, im a photographer and a half! :)

i fly to seattle a lot (at least 2-3 times a month) and i
have a good friend that lives in vancouver so i go there a
lot too. it's just a favourite city of mine, maybe because
it's so accessable to foot.....i love walking, etc.

also canada rocks with prices on cd's and dvd's......i mean
i never leave there w/o spending some $$.

i do wanna see the guitar sculpture inside the EMP as well,
but for me the outside of the building is/can be as
beautiful as the outside....strange but true.

i took a lot of incredible b/w photo's (some colour too) at
and around the capilano suspension bridge....some dew on a
leaf is one of my favourites...=0)

the pacific northwest holds a lot of outdoor adventure for
those so inclined.

i believe nanotech was from seattle, i'm sure he could lend
some insight.

"'the outside of a building can be just as beautiful as the
INSIDE'"

I agree, but being a musician, the inside is what really
mattered to me, although the architecture of the building
was definately a plus!! :)
