I haven´t been on the old board as hopefully some of you
have noticed because I have been getting ready to, arriving,
and now settling in to my new temporary home. Everything is
fucking great here, so far its been like summer camp,
although classes just started so I doubt it will remain this
way. I´m here with about 50 other kids from a kind of
artsy school all trying to learn spanish. And so far its
been working out well.
Me: Yeah I´m into electronic music and such.
Fairly attractive blonde girl: Yeah my mom makes electronic
music
Me: Whoa really? Cool. Thinking:(That´s what we need, a
middle aged lady making trance and house music)
Fairly attractive blonde girl: So you listen to Autechre,
and boards of canada?
Me: Thinking: (sweet)

Anyway some things suck, like Aphex Twin is coming to
fucking NYC smack in the middle of when I´m gone. Also I
can´t get my laptop to plug into the residencia network so
my internection is shit, which means I can´t be here as
much as I´d like to.

Anyway the point of this thread is to ask if there is
anything cool to do in this area musicwize. We have 3 day
weekends to take trips anywhere around spain, southern
france, etc to do whatever we want. I was wondering if
anyone could recommend stuff, as there are a few kids here
into the mu-sic who would come along with me.

It doesn't have anything to do with music, but if you're in
the north/west, go to Bilbao, to the Guggenheimer museum.
