stupid review of Drukqs

dude, i read this review on www.bornbackwards.com of the latest
aphex. Shit is whack, doesn't make any sense at all:

"Richard D. James is a weird guy from what I hear. I read
this FAQ on Aphex Twin once, and apparently he owns this car
with a gun on top of it. I don’t know if I believe that
but if it’s true, that’s fucking cool as hell. I want a
gun on the Spirit. Instead of running people over like I
usually do, I’d have my passenger stand up and blow some
fuckers away, giving the term “shotgun” a literal
meaning. Like, if there was a kid playing in the road,
chasing a ball perhaps, it would give me so much pleasure to
watch him get torn apart by machine gun bullets instead of
running him over. You can’t see the blood if he’s under
your wheels unless you stop and get out of the car.
There’s no time for that shit; hit and run mother fuckers!
Hit and run! Oh yeah, the album. It’s long as shit, but
not long with all good songs. The good songs could have all
fit on one album. He could have saved the shit for his own
personal collection of bad music. There are a lot of weird
piano things that just fuck with the flow of the two discs.
I’ve never been a fan of his slow stuff though; I’m all
about the fast, weird, fucked up shit. This album is
definitely worth having; however, because the good songs,
are really fucking good. Buy it, then burn one cd with all
the good songs. Hell, don’t even buy it, just find out
what the good songs are and burn that shit."

What the hell? That doesn't tell me shit about the record
just that the reviewer is on crack or something.

It's not eloquently said... but I kind of agree with this
dumbass. I'd rather it be pared down to one disc. There's no
real BAD tracks on it, but not everything is great. It
coulda been a conTENDah!

Ophecks is wrong in my opinion,i love the way it goes
everywhere, nice piano melodies to head fuck songs to stuff
just to confuse the hell outta you, sure theres a couple of
not great tracks, but id rather have them on it then not,and
to me the album makes sense as a whole.thats just me
though.:D

Anyone remember the review Rolling Stone gave Drukqs? They
let people give thier own reviews, and it got messy.
Everyone was insulting the reviewer because they said the
record was crap. The reviewer just wrote a book, so a lot
of people went to Amazon.com to review thier book. So many
insults. But it goes to show you how devoted AFX fans
are...
