. . .

...then you find a yummy bag of marshmellows in a patch of
sunshine penetrating the shadow, and you eat them... and
they taste yummy, then you realize that vegetable peels are
really exoskeletons

when replicating molecules ran out of free floating
constituents in the soup, the ones that could break apart
other molecules and use their constituents for their own
replication where the ones that happened to succeed in
replication the best.

since our perceptions of the world are all different and
subjective (even when it comes to true or false, good or
bad, or anything), i'm not sure an universal 'truth' could
be found...

offline corngrower from the fertile grounds of Iowa, w (United States) on 2002-08-25 10:55 [#00364077]

truth always exists... but we cant find or comprehend it
because of the paradoxes we're fed from the point we're
born, such as religion, telling us what to believe in and
how we can be riceouse when the truth is the religion we all
know is the biggest motive for murder in the history of
human kind, as real now as ever

corngrower > ...yeah, maybe — but would we be able to find
and understand that truth again in that case?
probably if we'd find it, we'd distort it and the
consequences could be terrible, everyone being convinced
that his version of the truth is THE truth...

yes but thats becose we make our own form of truth, we
broadcast it far and wide and make sure everyone knows what
is in and what is out YOU SEE IT, YOU HEAR IT, YOU BUY IT,
and yet we are totally ignorant to the true suffering going
on in the rest of the world, while they make our nike and
abercrombie for a quarter an hour and we wonder why they
hate us... we baske in our own brutal capitalism constantly,
and we love it, and Im so fuckng tired of it I could fucking
vomit and slit my fucking through AT THE SATIME!!!!!
