Whats up with all these ugly covers ? Cant Reflex afford a
decent graphic designer.
The Astrobotnia cover looks like from one of those cheesy
"Chill out" CDs that they advertise on TV late at night....

methinks they shouldn't have used that font on the cover...
and even with a better font, it would look amateur...

the latest mariah carey album got some ace artwork! maybe
you should purchase that instead.

but the whole rephlex website looks cheesy. with the
"prestigious" aphextwin.com url, they could have done it
better! no anti-aliasing on the text or anything... -_-

As IDM fan I demand an avangardistic cover, with....some
weird lines, or a building, stuff like that.... :-) !

urb > even if artwork isn't the most important part when you
buy a cd, it matters somehow — i'd rather buy the cds who
have a nice or decent artwork, and download (or simply don't
buy) the others... since i can't afford buying every cd i
want...

there's no need of something complicated, look at some
autechre artwork which are very minimalistic (lp5, tri
repetae), i think it's still ok, and certainly nicer than
other ugly artwork...

do you know how much warp paid for the lp5 artwork? rephlex
can't afford that kind of money.

Yeah, I like the Confield cover, its ace, I also like the
cover Kid606s "Down with the scene" and the Clicks N Cuts
compilations...!

okay, forget i mentioned lp5, that was a bad example (almost
forgot the frozen case! me stupid)...

i meant, simple artwork can be nice. you don't have to make
something complicated.
