funny thing about cats

my cats seem to have an enormous interest to vinyls. once
one of them actually tried to scratch while i was listening
to sabers of paradise!

i should get more sleep and not post idiotic things :o

anyhow, what stupid and/or funny things do your pets or
whatever do?

btw other thing which makes more sense, what do you think of
sabres of paradise?

the only funny thing i see about cats is that they have
existed for this long

i one scared the shit out of my cat w/ my guitar

well, my amp was on my wooden floor so that when it made a
really low, bassy sound u could feel the floor vibrating w/
it (if its loud enough)

anyway, i did this while my cat happened to be walking into
my room one day, and he freaked out!
he jumped into the air, and ran out terrified

actually its happened to a couple of my cats (i have 3)

...i've come up with the theory that cats have a built in
THC gland.

think about it...what do they do all day? sleep. and then
they go outside and are gone all night.

if you agree, what other reasons can you come up with?

Haven't heard much by Sabres......but i do enjoy Two Lone
Swordsmen a great deal.

well they have enormous appetite.
and they are a bit stupid from time to time.

also, my cats are allways trying to eat our plants.

i've got sabresonic and haunted dancehall or whatever, both
cd-r's .. didn't get awfully into sabresonic, (i only
aquired it recently), and havne't listened to haunted d.
enough to really say, but i think i liked that one quite a
bit more.

i don't have a cat, but a cat got (partially) run over on my
street last night :( - but after seeing the vet, it seems
its more or less ok :)

two lone swordsmen and sabres of paradise, they both are
cool names, but i know nothing about them except that they
are on warp...

anyone reccommend them?

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-08-24 06:19 [#00362567]
Points: 5924 Status: Regular

both great records :) i lost my haunted dancehall somewhere
though..
those songs paint pictures to my mind :)

and poor cat. we don't let our cats out yet, they are quite
small and some fucked up mid-class neighbours might try to
shoot them if they went to their yards. (really, this
happens)

Hehe...EVOL..I came to the same conclusiona hilw ago...

I reckon it's heroin/opiates tho...if it was THC then they'd
be listened to hippy BOC all day...;)...

music that makes us fond of cats......prolly their fragility
and extreme caution and misterious
personalité....errrrr...who knows.

my cat is naughty too

at night he jumps on the computor table and knocks stuff
around, sits on the moniter, and plays with the printer.

He has figured out, that if he pushes the buttons on the
print, that it makes noises, and paper comes out. He
randomly hits the buttons, and watches the printer move.

Its cute in theory, but not at 4 am when you are trying to
sleep.

hehe

see that's what tipped me off about their lil secret, i saw
in High Times, a pic of some dudes cat eatin'
his plants and a lil story about how when he came home from
work one day his cat ate his whole crop that he was gonna
harvest that same night.

like a couple of years later my neighbor friend got a cat
just like in the picture and we were out front her house
smokin' bowls and her fuckin' cat comes out from inside a
car engine block and was all dirty and greasy and oily and i
was like wtf?! and she was all yeah the other day i caught
him tryin' to eat my sack! that's when i made the
connection, it just all of a sudden hit me.

just don't feed it any meat? (that is if you keep it inside
all day)

yo neetta - you familiar with cristian vogel by any chance?

but a cat probably needs meat :/

no i'm not. who the hell is he?

I have three cats.

One of them likes to stare at the ceiling and wall for some
reason.

He sucks his tail too, like a baby would suck it's thumb.

well we "need" meat, but we can still be vegetarian?

cristian vogel, experimental techno dude .. pretty cool
stuff. specially some of his latter stuff with syncopated
beats and stuff..

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-08-24 07:03 [#00362693]

we don't NEED meat :)

but cats are true carnivores.

i'll check out this vogel.

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-08-24 07:10 [#00362721]
Points: 4605 Status: Regular

no but if we don't eat meat we NEED dietry supplements,
(depending the volume one eats) ..

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-08-24 07:12 [#00362727]
Points: 5924 Status: Regular

...but if we didn't eat so many tasty and nourishing veggies
we should eat meat :)

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-08-24 07:25 [#00362763]
Points: 4605 Status: Regular

yeah that's what i mean by volume. You could just have a
steak (200g) or have some cabbage (2kg) and get the same
ammounts of iron .. :)

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-08-24 07:25 [#00362764]
Points: 4605 Status: Regular

all depends on what you view "need" as :)

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-08-24 07:29 [#00362773]
Points: 4605 Status: Regular

or you could have tasty nourishing veges AND tasty
nourishing meat?
