i think they should make huge choir, thats like... beat
boxers, rappers, singers, and people who make sound effects,
or just hum.

I think it would be so cool.

Anyone know if this has actually been done before?

A choir of beatboxers? Bah, just pick up any rap cd. There
are enough people on 'collaborations' to generate a 'choir
sound'.

Funk Motion by Master Z: Featuring: Total Kaos, BrownBizcut,
Harlem Boyz, Chocolate Man, Method Guy, Old Tyme Rap Anthem
Group featuing: Cold Kary, Snoopy and the gang featuring:
Kevin May, Anthony G, Derrik C, Brian K and Mike D [now back
to "Funk Motion" collaboratees]: Micheal C, Kaos Theory,
Back Ally, The Gates and Total Knock out featuring the only
and only Bobby "The one and only" Nickle.

not just beat boxers

like youd have someone beat boxing

someone emulating bass

some one singing

some one rappying

someone doing sound effects etc...

but ALL vocals... nothing else

Im sure thats been done. But I don't see your idea of
simultaneous rapping / singing working out...unless you did
phase work. It would be too scrambled otherwise because too
much is going on.

On the other hand if you're thinking of Boyz 2 Men type
things...

For instance:

Guy one singing: 'Ohhh yeaaaah...uh
huh..uhhhh...oohhh..uhhhh..oh yeaee-eeeeaaahhh eeee...ohh
ohhhhh ohhh'

Guy two talking: 'Baby girl, I know what i did was wrong..i
hope you can take me back. im so sorry for the things i
did...please forgive me girl...take me back in your
arms...'

Guy three singing: 'Oh yes baayy-baahh...I love it when you
come ovaahh...and we get in beee-eed UUHHHH...oh girl I love
it when we dip iiiittt...uhhhh"

... go and buy it. :)

look how EASY it is to make soul music ladies and gentlemen.
Come up with lame appologies, add lots of oh yeahs and more
'babies' than an infant ward and you got yourself a number 1
girl pleaser.
