i got a reply from rephlex they said that this event has nothing to do with rephlex, and that the only person that would have control over changing the age would be the promotor. soooo.... that means someone is lieing, cause everyone keeps telling me its not in thier hands, theres nothing they can do. i personally think they just dont want to take the shit from people, so they say it isnt in their control and seeing how andydeer99 is the promotor, that leads me to the assumption that he could change the age if he wants... but isnt goin to cause he wants a fuck load of money fucker |

thanks "urb" don't blame the capitalists! anyway, like most small company's my profits are over a fiscal year. mine is from jan. to dec. and to be honest our halloween event last year was postponed because of sept.11 and our budget went way up and we lost over $100k. also we did an event at hammerstein on jun. 19th. the only snowstorm of the year. bang.... i lost again. so no matter what happens at aphex. my company is still in the red! (at a loss). should you feel bad, not a bit. and just to clear one thing up. my company does not make any money or profit or anything from the bar at roxy! |

i believe that is roxy! we have done 18+ shows there. our dNb shows last year...reespect where 18+. but they were on thursdays. they were not open normally on thursdays. now, wednesdays they have a very successful rollerskating night! which does very well for the bar. so the dynamics change! also they just installed a new "phazon" soundsystem, somebody must pay for that! |

when i first inquired about "doing" aphex for a show, i really hit a wall. i was told by many people that he does not like playing ny, does not like america in general. so if everything goes as planned he will be back, and hopefully we will be able to get roseland or roxy on a night for 18+. but for this show, it will be 21+. you tried, i commend you for that, i do not know anybody who has given it so much time/effort. someday you will make a good employee! |

priority for aphex twin show was: hammerstein- they turned us down for the show. roseland- booked for that evening. whats next? irving plaza, bowery ballroom,whatelse, what other place? |

promoters usually have an exclusive with a venue. just look at who produces shows at what venues, and they will not give up a night unless they are not interested in "doing" that act themselves! irving plaza! delsin&slater + it only holds 1300-1500 people. |
