I had the pleasure of seeing this Friday at a mostly empty theatre. Kind of disappointing turn out considering it's only playing at one theatre in this city and that was the first showing. It was great. Even if you don't care about Factory Records, Tony Wilson, Joy Division, Manchester, the Hacienda, Post-punk music, New Order, etc. It's still worth it. Hilarious, serious when it needs to me, and just a good piece of filmmaking. Steve Coogan played it perfectly. |
