it seems you won if the can openers had 15 casualties. I still don't know squat about using code like c++ to make music, but after briefly reading a smidge of a c++ book... it seems we keep trying to make code less cryptic, easier for us to understand (then use compiler to translate for the computer).. anyway, it seems that using software like modplug/fruityloops or something really IS using code in the most user friendly way possible just about... like really "high level" code, you basically look at and modify visuals (since sight's our main sense) since this is less cryptic than trying to hear and modify sound directly. Or something and stuff and junk

hmm..I think the chaos arises in my music because of the consious efforts I make to stem the flow of the instinct...we have been trained to the tune of 4/4 by our social conditioning...using randomizing scripts are well and good but eventually the meta content falls into an irregular pattern all it's own..we dont have enough resources yet to create an impossibly unpredictable randomizer...

I think I probably like complexity because I like nature and nature is complex... not just complex, but works as a super system with inter related parts and stuff...
there's tons of symmetry in nature... Just using that concept with a pencil on paper can produce surreal naturish constructions. One time, out of like 4 times ever that I went outside,... i looked at this eroded cliff face on a bike trail. It was so autechre. A perplexity that arises is why don't we just spend hours staring at such things nature already created.... they're mad designs by a super otto von schirach, madder than any human can mimic in "art"... this is evidence that the creation process itself is what is interesting to us.

Then again it's possible for life to create things that inanimate nature would never have accidentally happened to mould... There's pictures of crystals and natural formations of gold and silver that are really wicked in this one book... and on the microscopic level, stuff looks super cool. but there's maybe a limit to what inanimate matter can do under various forces acting upon it, though they are super interesting and analogue.
Like, woops... the atoms accidentally arranged themselves in the form of a rocket ship. Or some rain drops happen to fall in pools of various sizes in a cave in the right tempo to make some particular melody. Consciousness can direct matter to do things it otherwise would not have done? (turning into some flatulous philosophical discussion where nobody knows what the hell they're talking about)
It seems our natural inclination would be to create a "perfectly" structured thing, something with perfect linear tempo and no "glitchiness"... just because this is the type of thing that nature would not normally make... it's too easy to do this with that magic computer software we have today though so it stops being interesting maybe. who knows, not me.

I had come up with a very cool reply for that something about fractals occuring in nature and the things that look like accidents on surface are sometimes atually accidents right down to the subatomic level..but the browser crapped out on me..and hey..
that's basically all I said..I remembered it all..horray:)
